Terms Of Service (TOS)

The following definitions apply to this Terms of Service agreement:

  • "We", "us", "our", "the company" refer to Jigsaw Connections Ltd.
  • "You", "your", refer to the person or company ordering services from Jigsaw Connections Ltd.
  • "Server" refers to the computer server and other related equipment operated by us to provide service.
  • "Services" and "service" refers to web hosting, email, customer support and any other service or facility provided by us to you.
  • "Account" refers to the server resources allocated for your use.

Headings are included in this agreement for convenience only.

Payment Policies, Fees, Refunds and Terms of Agreement

Full payment is required before any hosting service is rendered, which includes renewals. For monthly paid accounts prepayment is due each 30 days following the date the account was established.

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling and payment in Sterling is accepted via either Paypal or Nochex. We can also accept payment made by cheque drawn on a UK bank.

In the event of a cheque being returned unpaid by your bank we reserve the right to charge a £50 administration fee.

Additional features can be added at any time. Monthly feature prices are not pro-rated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.

Account Cancellation

Billing will continue until you cancel your hosting account. You may cancel at anytime. We will give you a prorated refund when you cancel and delete your files from our server.

This only applies to cancellation by the client. If cancellation is done by us due to restrictions violation, there will be no refund. We will only allow for the discount if cancellation is not the fault of the client, as determined by us.

To cancel your account, please create a ticket on our helpdesk system.

Indemnification Policy

You agree to use all our services and facilities at your own risk. Jigsaw Connections Ltd. specifically disclaims all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Jigsaw Connections Ltd. be liable for any loss, or loss of data, or other commercial damage, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential or other damages. Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold Jigsaw Connections Ltd. harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against Jigsaw Connections Ltd., its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, it's agents, employees or assigns.

Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Jigsaw Connections Ltd. against liabilities arising out of:

  • Any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with Jigsaw Connection's server;
  • Any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party;
  • Copyright infringement;
  • Any defective products sold to customers from the Jigsaw Connections server(s).

We shall be the sole judge of what violates this Policy.

Backups

Full backups are made nightly. No guarantees are made of any kind, either expressed or implied, as to the integrity of these backups. Backups are made for server restoration purposes only. It is the client's responsibility to maintain local copies of their web content and information.

The "Backup Manager" is included in each hosting plan and client can use this tool to back up their files. If loss of data occurs due to an error of ours or our suppliers, we will attempt to recover the date for no charge to the client. If data loss occurs due to negligence of client in securing their account or by an action of the client, we will attempt to recover the data from the most recent archive for a £25.00 fee.

Support Policy

It is the client's responsibility to have a good working knowledge of aspects of their site's operation. Please do not expect the Jigsaw Connections Ltd. support staff to teach you how to use aspects of the tools at your disposal. You can post questions like this into the General discussion area of the forum and interact with other customers for help and advice etc.

Service Availability

We shall use reasonable endeavours to make the server and services we have contracted to supply available to you at all times, but we shall not, in any event, be liable for interruptions of service or downtime of the servers.

We shall not be held responsible for any poor network performance due to internet, network, data centre and equipment problems or failures outside of our control.

Jigsaw Connections Ltd. reserves the right to amend our Terms and Conditions at any time.

Any changes will be notified in the news section of the control panel.
